Title: IT Business Analyst (Indirect Channel) Location: Duluth, GA Type: 3 Month Contract to Hire # of Pos: 1
Position Summary CCCi's client has an immediate 3-Month Contract-to-Hire position for an IT Business Analyst focused on Indirect Channel. The primary objective of this position is to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. This role identifies ways technology solutions can be applied to support business strategies and improve business processes. The selected candidate will conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost versus benefit measurements; broker other IT services; communicate trends and requirements between clients and the IT community, and deliver work products through the project life cycle. In summary, ensures that business requirements are satisfied in a way that maximizes' investment, minimizes risk, and is consistent with the global IT architecture.
Key Areas of Responsibility - Associate will be focused on indirect channel needs, strategies, and requirements for this selling channel. - Lead the business in the identification of business needs and priorities, including the creation of business cases (ROI analysis). - Collects and researches specific client requirements for strategic projects and/or production support efforts - Gathers/defines data and process workflows as well as business/functional system, security, and reporting specifications. - Develops, implements, and supports common business processes. - May either perform or partner with a project manager to document issues, risks, action items, and project team decisions from project meetings. - Performs a variety of project related activities including analysis or preparation of documentation and presentations. - Participate in the review of technical design deliverables, usability assessment, systems' integration and user acceptance testing efforts - Develop and Conduct end user training - Drive Quality Management/Post Implementation value assessments of processes and deliverables as required
Basic Requirements - Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent degree - Five or more years' experience in IT business analysis positions related to enterprise applications - Demonstrated problem solving abilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong negotiation and selling skills - Excellent organization and planning skills - Ability to work individually and in a team setting - Flexibility in a rapidly changing environment - Ability to work non-standard hours when required - Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project - Extensive Excel skills are a must - Working knowledge of Business Objects, Microsoft BI tools, and other Datawarehouse query tools.
Preferred Requirements - Experience in indirect selling channels, channel programs, marketing development funds, partner portals, Partner Relationship Management tools, Partner Internet portals and content management distribution methods, partner classifications (VAR, OEM, Distributors, etc.), and partner service models. - Experience with creating/deploying application help and training modules - Certifications in business analysis/project management: PMP, PMI, CBA - Experience with RFP and vendor evaluation techniques - Experience with quality assessment/continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma, CMMi, etc. - Experience working with a geographically distributed teams
