Duration: Permanent Location: Skokie, IL/ Zip Code: 60077 Compensation: $95,000/ Annually Role: Senior Oracle Application Developer/ Analyst Role Description: The Senior Oracle Application Developer/ Analyst would need to have at least 6 to 10 years of experience. This Candidate will be responsible for the new development and B2B integration projects as well as support activity using Oracle SOA Suite and PL/ SQL programming tools. The Senior Oracle Application Developer/ Analyst is responsible for development and delivery of Oracle E-Business Suite software components and B2B integrations including the Oracle SOA Suite BPEL and B2B components, PL/SQL concurrent programs, Oracle Forms and APEX web pages. This Candidate will also perform as the go to person for issue and problem resolution in areas of expertise and mentor and share best practices with other Developers. Responsibilities: - Perform Developer project tasks as agreed to by the PM related to requirements understanding and completeness, solution proposal, design, development, configuration, unit testing and system testing. - Develop and maintain end-user documentation for both technical and business users. - Deal with multiple high priority user support issues and problem tickets simultaneously. - Work with Specialists, Service Level Managers and Service Providers to refine and improve incident resolution time targets e.g., what steps to take next, which route to investigate first, who to talk to next, etc. Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications: Education and Certificates: - High School Diploma or GED is required. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other related major, is preferred. - Graduate coursework is a plus. - Oracle Certifications are preferred. - ITIL Certification is a plus but not required. Required Experience: - 6 to 10 years of IT experience is required, including: - A minimum of 4 to 8 years experience developing solutions with Oracle tools. - A minimum of 2 years experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is required. - A minimum of 2 years experience with Oracle SOA Suite is required (10g and/or 11g), with a focus on the BPEL and B2B modules. - eCommerce/ B2B Integration experience is preferred. - Experience with XML, Web Services, and Certificates is preferred. - Experience with Order Management and Procurement Oracle eBusiness modules is preferred.
