Duration: Permanent Location: Chicago, IL/ Zip Code: 60611 Compensation: $105,000/ Annually Role: Oracle Functional Analyst Role Description: The Client is looking for a mid to senior level Oracle Functional Analyst with the objective of leading and supporting the roll-out of existing Oracle applications and building future enhancements. This is an excellent position for a self-motivated individual with strong functional and technical experience. This Candidate will work closely with the Senior Technical and Functional staff in completing strategic development projects. Main Responsibilities: - Be able to lead, design and deliver mid-sized projects using Oracle E Business Suite 11i. - Support the rollout of the project implementation in Oracle 11i. - Develop a functional knowledge of the current legacy application and assist the business users transition from legacy to Oracle based applications. - Participate in discussions with business users to understand, analyze business problems and lead towards viable business solutions. - Identify and lead process improvement and other initiatives to support future growth and transition from legacy systems. - Assist and guide technical developers as needed. Minimum Qualifications: - 5 to 7 years of experience with configuration and setup of Oracle Applications 11i modules focused on (AR, AP, GL, Purchasing, iProcurement, and Inventory). - 4 to 6 years of experience implementing industry best practices to improve processes and solve business problems. - Strong functional knowledge of standard Oracle Workflows and Processes - 3 to 4 years of software development/ implementation experience. - Sound knowledge of the Oracle Applications 11i Framework and Technology stack.. - Strong experience in full life cycle development and SDLC methodologies. - Strong analytical skills with experience in writing functional/ technical specifications and process diagrams. - Some experience with new implementations and also upgrades. - Some project management experience. - Ability to handle major cross-functional and cross-platform assignments with minimum supervision. - Ability to operate and excel in a team oriented environment. - Ability to think, work, and contribute beyond defined responsibilities. - Desire to grow and assume additional responsibilities. Other Desired Skills and Attributes: - Working knowledge of the real estate and property management sector. - Some experience in developing, deploying and supporting applications to a diverse, not-technical user base in multiple geographic locations. - Experience with working in a hosted environment.
