Having worked with the tool at all is enough. If not, work with some type of reporting package is needed. -Experience with OLAP tools including Hyperion Essbase is also a plus, but some type of OLAP experience is required. -A big plus is to have built a CUBE in some technology as is experience with Oracle Forms and Reports -Development experience in a Reporting tool of some kind (like IR), at least a couple of years in some tool. If tool was Oracle Reports, a significant plus -Solid experience with full systems development lifecycle and application development methodologies, at least 5 years. Description: Position Title: Manager - BI and Operational Reporting Reports To: VP - Enterprise Information Systems Position Summary: The BI Reporting manager has the responsibility of delivering new reporting and analytical applications for both field and FSC users in addition to maintaining and enhancing existing reports and applications. The application portfolio will include Self-Service and On-Demand reporting tools, Dashboards, and Analytical Applications. Position directly manages team of developers and additional resources as required including consultants. The Manager works closely with a wide array of teams including the Business Analysis team, ETL developers, source system development teams, and data architects to ensure that upcoming reporting needs can be met with data resident in the appropriate reporting layers. The Manager is responsible for distributing required development and analysis work to other teams as needed including defining ETL requirements and data needed in the source system. Manager works with other reporting groups including, but not limited to, the Finance groups Management Reporting team to define reporting roles and responsibilities of reporting groups. Qualifications: -Experience leading projects and managing technical resources. -Dedicated to meeting delivery schedules and to producing high quality results. -Strong financial and operations systems background Excellent written and oral communications skills ----Excellent organizational skills -Experience and confidence communicating with Senior Executive Management as well as ability to communicate effectively with technical staff -Experience with Hyperions Interactive Reporting is a plus (Current toolset as of 2012). -Experience with OLAP tools including Hyperion Essbase is also a plus as is experience with Oracle Forms and Reports -Solid experience with full systems development lifecycle and application development methodologies- Excellent negotiation, diplomacy and consensus building skills to attain project goals and meet key stakeholder expectations -Bachelors degree or equivalent or five years of relevant work experience Duties and Responsibilities: -Actively manage BI and reporting projects to successful completion. -Accountable for multiple reporting and Business Intelligence projects. -Responsible for delivering high-quality BI and reporting products that meet and exceed user expectations -Prioritize project and reporting requests with users and with management. -Communicate project/report delivery dates to users and make commitments to delivery dates -Coordinate with Business Intelligence Analyst group to ensure consistency of metrics across reports -Establish strong working relationship with team members, all functions within IT, and across the business as needed -Work with users to users to define the solutions they need for success -Work with Business Analysis team to document user functional requirements sufficiently such that developers can begin design and development -Evaluate and implement BI Toolkits for Self-Service Reporting, On-Demand Reporting, Dashboard development, (potentially) Mobile BI -Maintain metrics about BI usage - frequency of report use, dashboard use, etc. -Administer user training and education where appropriate -Communicate plans and progress with senior management on a regular basis -Successfully document, raise, and resolve issues with project stakeholders -Develop, direct, coordinate and evaluates staff CDI is an Equal Opportunity Employerdf-mn
