We have an immediate need for an Oracle Business Analyst - Standard Costing Job Description: Degree Required: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a Bachelors Degree focusing on Information Technology Experience Required: 8+ years as an Oracle Business Analyst in a Manufacturing environment with extensive experience Implementing or supporting Standard Costing under Oracle Release 11i or 12 We are looking for a hands-on, creative, best-in-class professional who thrives in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and team-working skills and will be unafraid of stretching his/her talents in a dynamic and innovative organization. Responsibilities: - Support the costing department in all aspects of cost management & analysis activities. - Collaborate with costing business users in the design, development, and deployment of new or improved business processes & costing solution using Oracle E-business Suite of applications. - Assess and recommend improvements to business processes & costing structure. - Support Companys manufacturing & Costing community by providing second tier application support and training as required - Analyze user requirements and issues and provide the best fit solution, while maintaining the integrity of existing applications. - Negotiate technical and non-technical solutions that both satisfy the business user and conform to the technical architecture. - Document and communicate changes throughout the user organization, supporting change management and compliance. - Responsible for guiding and directing the overall success of all projects. Requirements: - 8years experience in implementing and supporting costing module E-business 11.5.10/ Rel 12 for a manufacturing organization. - Full knowledge of Systems Life Cycle development methodologies and oracle implementations - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of manufacturing principles, costing and other related business processes - Candidate must be skilled in leading cross-functional and distributed teams on large initiatives. - Good knowledge of SQL is a must, while Exposure to PL-SQL is desirable. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. - Strong use of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) Additional requirements: - About 10-20% travel may be required.
