We have an immediate need for a Infrastructure Project Manager - ETL,Weblogic,F5 Load Bal Job Description: Experience Level: Combination of education and work experience typically equivalent to a Bachelors degree and 7-10 years technical project mgmt experience. Additional Services: The Internet Services Group (ISG) within the client is the driving creative and technical force behind the clients website. ISG helps customers realize their financial needs by delivery the worlds most innovative e-banking and e-commerce services, capabilities and alliances. The Internet Technology Services - Project Services team within ISD is looking for a highly motivated and skilled technical project manager to lead full software development life cycle and infrastructure projects. The candidate will also help define and champion new project management processes and standards. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead and monitors all activities for large, high risk, major technology-based projects from initiation to delivery. Manage and Interface across platforms, applications, and/or business lines. Work with business partners to develop technology concepts, requirements, design alternatives, project schedules, and costs for new system initiatives. Plan and direct complex program schedules and budgets, monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Provide consistent and comprehensive status reports. Baseline and track project forecasted dates to actual delivery dates, documenting reasons for variances and impacts to schedules. Facilitate lessons learned at the end of each project, documenting results and bringing findings to the project management team so all can learn. May serve as a lead by providing direction to less experienced technical project management staff while serving in a project leadership role Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of technical project management experience Minimum Requirements: In addition to basic qualifications, the successful candidate will have: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent high visibility customer facing (internet) technology projects with broad scope and high availability objectives. 7+ years experience implementing and decommissioning infrastructure and release projects in a high availability environment with no system downtime during implementations. 7+ years experience in driving the provisioning of new infrastructure in data centers (validate design components, ordering, delivery, and builds for new technologies). 7+ years experience managing project installations with the following technologies: Extract Translate Load (ETL), WebLogic, SunOne, UNIX, Windows, Oracle 10g +, F5 Load balancer, General Nelson, Actimize, and Bharosa. 7+ years experience managing projects which include the following technical and operational areas: network (DMZ, Open), security (firewalls), distributed systems (Sun/Dell/HP Hardware), storage (SAN, NAS, etc) and data center operations (cabling, space, and power) concepts. Demonstrated experience with formulating project plans, scope and project description documents, and resource plans. Full knowledge/experience using Microsoft Office products Experience managing projects following a standard SDLC/PLC or project management methodology. Senior-level relationship management skills with the ability to build trust within the project team and between the project team and stakeholders/customers Demonstrated experience in controlling project scope and actively mitigating risks and issues (foreseen and unforeseen) . Excellent communication, writing and critical thinking skills Flexibility to work off-hours and weekends if needed.PMI, ITIL, Six Sigma, CMM experience Active listening skills Strong team player Preferred Skills: Project Management Office (PMO) leadership experience Prior financial services experience B/S or equivalent Platform and Skill Set Expertise: Analysis Skills: Business Analysis Duration: 18 months Location: San Francisco, CA Note: Only candidates who can work on W2 will be considered TAKE ACTION!
